Cruciform Kingdom

My name is Levi Jones.  I love reading, thinking, and writing about theology and the Church.  I've been a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene since 2006 and was ordained as an Elder in 2012.  During this time I had the great privilege of serving as a youth pastor in Perry, OK, and Piedmont, OK, as an associate pastor in Kansas City, KS, and as an admissions counselor for Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. 

 

I love Jesus and the Church.  My study and reflection are ultimately in service to Christ for the Body of Christ.  Preaching is an especially deep passion.  I am a graduate of Southern Nazarene University (B.S. Multi-Disc. and M.A. Theology) and Nazarene Theological Seminary (M.Div.).  Both institutions and its professors have profoundly shaped me.

 

Beyond being a pastor, and most importantly, I am husband to Becca.  I'm also a son, brother, nephew, grandson, and uncle, all of which have filled my life with great joy.  In my spare time, I love reading, playing and watching sports, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with friends.
